Company History

Insulation Pros LLC was founded in December of 2008. It was started by owner Lee Myers and general manager Dave Gerland. Myers was a drywall contractor who had noticed an opportunity in the St. Louis area for an insulation contractor, while Gerland was currently operating as a manager at another insulation company, and had a lot of knowledge of the insulation industry. The two came together and decided there was enough opportunity to start a new insulation company, so they did.

After nearly four successful years of being in business, the company was purchased from Myers in November, 2012. Then in 2022, the company was purchased by IBP, but still operates under the same management and continues to provide great customer service. The sister company of Insulation Pro is Ozark’s Modern Insulation, located in southeastern Missouri that has been in business since 1977. Both companies are service-focused businesses that strive to set themselves apart from their competition by providing outstanding customer service and grouping it with the use of the highest quality materials available in the industry. Our goal is to simply have a completely satisfied customer base that benefits from our services for the life of their home!
